Our new home was recently completed by R. H. McClure Builders. From the beginning of our association with McClure, especially with Rob Jordan, our experience has been totally professional. Since we are first-time builders we had lots of questions and sometimes felt we were constantly calling McClure. Our questions were always answered promptly and we were never made to feel that our concerns weren’t important. When construction first began on our home, we were living in a different state and Rob kept us up to date on progress by sending pictures via e-mail. McClure uses high quality materials and they add a lot of extras that aren’t normally included. We heard nothing but high praise for McClure from all the different vendors that we used and we have received many compliments on our home. Dear Ralph:
I apologize for not communicating this to you sooner. About five years ago, you completely gutted our ocean-front home at 304 E 1st Street on Ocean Isle Beach and rebuilt it according to plans/specifications we and you created. The challenges were immense, considering all the government bureaucracy involved, the required permits, the thirty plus year old shell you were working with, and the dramatic design changes we desired.
To say this project was a success would certainly be an understatement. A few minor glitches, of course, as would be expected with such a difficult project. But the final result was most impressive; better than we anticipated. We receive compliments from everyone visiting with us, most thinking it is a new home. And working with a professional like Robbie was a pleasure.
Fortunately, my mother was able to enjoy it a couple of years; I only wish my father had lived long enough to see this total make-over. Again, my belated compliments on a job well done. Be assured that should we ever require remodeling or new construction in the future, you will be our source.
